Day 1: Arrival and Lefkada Town
You arrive by car in the island, through its floating bridge, or at Aktion National Airport (PVK). We can arrange the pickup of your car rental at the airport. Otherwise, we will send you the best options for a comfortable transfer to your accommodation.
Spend the day exploring the charming capital city, Lefkada Town. Visit the Lefkada Fortress, stroll through the narrow streets, and enjoy a traditional Greek meal at one of the local tavernas. Drink ouzo or tsipouro with meze and relax under the colorful bougainvillea. We have the perfect local guide for a 2-3-hour walking tour, that will share all the history of the old town and its traditions. Later in the afternoon visit Agios Ioannis beach, and rejuvenate in the cool transparent waters. Have a cold beer in the shadow of the parasols and enjoy the summer breeze.
Day 2: Beach Day in the West Coast
Head to the beautiful west coast of Lefkada. Spend the day exploring the stunning beaches of Kathisma and Pefkoulia. Relax on the golden sands, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and soak up the sun. Walk through the narrow pedestrians of Agios Nikitas and buy handcraft souvenirs. Before the sun sets, head to Exanthia village and enjoy dinner in Rachi restaurant, watching the sunset and amazing panoramic view.
Day 3: Island Hopping to Meganisi – Kastos – Kalamos
Let us organize a boat excursion for you, to the small islands of Lefkada. Discover the picturesque villages, hike along scenic trails, and enjoy the laid-back island atmosphere. Swim in the transparent water of Kastos. Have a lunch in Varka tavern in Kalamos. The day is all yours… When you return to the main island, make a stop in Cisore seaside bar-restaurant, and order a signature cocktail to seal the perfect day!
Day 4: Porto Katsiki and Egremni Beaches
Explore the two most famous beaches of Lefkada. Start with Porto Katsiki early in the morning, and find yourselves under the dramatic cliffs, surrounded by turquoise waters.
Afterwards, head to Egremni Beach, accessible via a scenic route and 400 steps. Relax on the pristine sands and enjoy the breathtaking coastal scenery. If you find access challenging, there is always an option of a rib boat rental, that can take you to both beaches easily and carefree… After the long walk, enjoy the perfectly delicious meals in T’Aloni restaurant in Hortata. Awarded chef, with the most tasteful dishes in the west coast and great house wine!
Day 5: Vassiliki and Windsurfing
Head south and visit the vibrant coastal village of Vassiliki, a haven for windsurfing enthusiasts. Whether you’re a pro or a beginner, try your hand at windsurfing or watch the experts in action. All types of fun sports are available in the coastline and the sandiest beach is ready to host your sandcastles. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at one of the seasides tavernas and unwind by the beach. You can also use the boat taxis to reach fantastic Agiofylli beach, with the emerald waters and white pebble.
Later visit beautiful Sivota bay for a drink and a night wine, just beside the full of life nicely lit waters of the bay.
Day 6: Dimosari waterfalls, heartland and Nidri
Start your day with a visit to the enchanting waterfalls. Take a refreshing swim in the natural pools and admire the lush green surroundings. Then drive through the mountains of Lefkada, to reach Karya. Make a short stop in Nydri Microfarm and taste extra virgine olive oil and organic honey. The Village of Karya is just a few minutes away. A large traditional village, full of character. Tavern Eleni, will host you under the planetrees in the main square. If you are still energetic and ready to hike a little more, follow Kostas and little Memo through the forests, to hunt summer truffle. Then Pueblo roastery bar will cook your finds and turn it into a magical truffle risoto, combined with the perfect wine.
Day 7: Sailing Adventure
Embark on a sailing adventure around Lefkada’s coastline. Enjoy the freedom of exploring hidden coves, snorkeling, and lay under the Mediterranean sunshine.
End your day with a memorable sunset cruise, capturing the beauty of Lefkada from the water.
Enjoy a mix of relaxation, outdoor activities, and island exploration for a memorable and enjoyable experience! In the evening, return to explore the bustling town of Nidri. Stroll along the coast, browse the shops, and relax at Sail Inn all day bar. A delightful fine dining experience and cocktail collection is created for you.
