Aktion Airport PVK only a 20km away from Lefkada

The nearest airport to Lefkada is Aktion National Airport (PVK), which is located on the mainland of Greece, about 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from Lefkada island.

To reach Lefkada from PVK airport, you can either take a taxi, rent a car, or use public transportation. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal, and the fare to Lefkada town is around 50-60EUR.

Alternatively, you can rent a car from one of our collaborative car rental companies and drive to Lefkada island. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes, and there is a bridge connecting the mainland to Lefkada, so no ferry is required.

Finally, there is also a public bus service that connects PVK airport to Lefkada island. The bus stop is located outside the airport terminal, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. The bus runs several times a day, and the fare is relatively cheap.
